Dear Residents, Families & Associates:
As we begin a new month, we wanted to send out an update to touch base with all of you. As you have likely seen in the news, numerous cases of COVID-19 have been identified in senior living communities in Colorado. We are pleased to report that we continue to remain free of any COVID-19 confirmed residents or associates for both Pine Grove Crossing and Village at Belmar.
We continue to follow the protocol for all residents and associates that was previously established through consultation with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), our skilled and capable clinical team, and our Medical Consultant, Dr. Gagandeep Singh.
We are so very proud of our associates who are going above and beyond to keep our residents safe and healthy during this time. As a token of our appreciation, we are bringing in a catered meal to all associates for all three shifts at Pine Grove Crossing and Village at Belmar one day this week. We thank the family members who have provided baked goods, meals and even the kind notes to those who are working hard day in and day out to serve their loved ones. We also have some exciting associate appreciation programs that we will be implementing in April. Even though their workdays are almost certainly more stressful now compared to our standard operating procedures only month ago, we are so appreciative of our hard-working teams that they are stepping up and answering the call of duty.
If you have any further questions, please reach out to Village at Belmar’s Executive Director, Michael Ruback, or Pine Grove Crossing’s Executive Director, Rita Waxon.
