Our Way of Life

Pine Grove Crossing provides Assisted Living and Memory Care with a personal touch. We offer suites and 16-hour licensed nursing care, 7 days a week, to our residents. We chose Pine Grove’s location based on the expansive views of the Front Range it provides, with access to medical care at nearby Parker Adventist Hospital. Our professional, caring team is committed to giving our residents the service they require with a dignified approach. Our setting gives people all the comforts of home with the support they need to live well.

Tyler-N-1

Tyler Nitta

Executive Director
Tyler Nitta’s calling to serve seniors was sparked at a very young age, with two great-grandparents facing Alzheimer’s disease. He learned firsthand the beauty of patience, how to be with someone in the moment, and how to cherish the small victories. Tyler calls himself an “old soul”, and after 14+ years in senior living, is now dedicated to meeting and exceeding the expectations of residents, their families, and his associates at Pine Grove Crossing by creating a safe, enriching and fun place to live and work. While memory care is where his heart lies, Tyler’s experience also includes life enrichment, sales, and operations. He has served as executive director of an Assisted Living and Memory Care community, as well as a committee member of the Alzheimer’s Association Colorado Chapter and board member of Bessie’s Hope, a not-for-profit that brings intergenerational programs in nursing homes and assisted living communities. Tyler is a graduate of the University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. A sports junkie, he enjoys family adventures with his wife and two children and rooting on his Denver Nuggets. On his list for a perfect getaway? Tropical weather and good food.

Debbie Rumer

Sales Counselor
Debbie enjoyed a successful career in the insurance industry for over 30 years. Life happened and Debbie’s mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. And then the journey began. Downsizing, selling the family home, exploring assisted living communities and finally helping her mother settle in for this new phase of life. This experience changed not only her mother’s life but also the direction of Debbie’s career. Debbie decided she wanted to be a part of helping others through this time of transition in their senior years. Debbie grew up in the south but now calls Colorado her home. Madelyn’s biggest achievement has been working in Life Enrichment for the past six years and enriching senior’s lives. She was raised in Puerto Rico and has lived in Colorado for the last 20 years. Alain

Alain Lumu Luabo

Director of Memory Care
Alain’s love of elders comes from his roots, and from his grandmother who is “90-years young.” He is a native of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), where the culture calls upon young people to care for their elders because “they have all the knowledge and wisdom that we need.” For Alain, that has meant working in senior living, including positions in memory care as Caregiver, Med Technician, Memory Care Coordinator, and Memory Care Director of Programming (where his community was nominated two years in a row for one of the best Memory Care communities in Denver). He graduated from medical school in DRC and moved to the US in 2005. Communication is the core value that speaks most to Alain; he feels it is a way to express ourselves and hear others, see and treat one another with compassion, and work together to achieve responsibilities. When he’s not busy serving seniors at Pine Grove Crossing, Alain enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, traveling, listening to news of the world, sports and watching movies. Dream vacation? Extended time on a Hawaiian beach where he can “only hear the sound of the water.”
Katelyn-S

Katelyn Sanchez

Resident Care Director
Former rodeo queen, diehard Broncos fan, and exceptionally good swing dancer: Katelyn considers Pine Grove Crossing residents and team members part of her extended family. “It is such an honor to assist my care team in continuing their growth, knowledge, and success in their roles. They are hands down the most fun, kindhearted, spirited, and diverse group of people I have ever worked with.” She felt the connection from the start. “You feel like you are at home. It is warm and inviting,” she says. For her, a commitment to compassion sets the community apart. “Everyone, from housekeeping, to the care team, to marketing and leadership, strives to make sure residents, families and team members feel heard and cared for.” Katelyn earned a technical degree in Nursing from the University of Northern Colorado. She’s worked in senior living for nine years, and served as Restorative Nursing Program Coordinator for Recover Care of Colorado. Getting outdoors with Don, her fiancé, and children Travis, Gunner, Brieland and Hunter makes her happy. And don’t forget her canine pal, Leigha. Dream vacation? Hunting and fishing in Alaska. Guilty pleasure? Buying shoes.
